Oh my goodness

Seriously. 8 months already??!!! If I were to go back and look, I'm almost certain I say this every time.....but honestly. Where does the time go?

We've had another great month with Miss Bella and her personality continues to get big along with the rest of her. So what's been going on this month, you might ask?

Well. Bella's had her first ear infection. We thought maybe she had one and since we were taking Olivia to the doctor, we figured we'd take Isabella too. Turns out we were right. Except. It was in the other ear from the one we suspected.

While we were at the doctor, they took Bella's weight. 19lb 15oz. Let's call it an even 20, shall we? My 8 month old is 6lbs lighter than my 3-year old. CRAZY!!! She has the same dosage on her medicine as the big girls do.

D's sister was over with her girls the other day and she took Bella upstairs to change Bella's clothes. When Bella came back down, she was wearing a pair of the girls' shorts. And they fit!!

Miss Bella is a pro at sitting up now, when placed in a seated position, of course. And oh the rolling! That's her primary mode of transportation, you know. You can put her in the family room.....walk into the kitchen....and when you turn around, she's right there with you and she has rolled......all the way! D said he saw her in the kitchen and he turned his back to unload the dishwasher. Then he heard the jingle of some of the musical instruments we have in the play area. Bella had rolled her way into the playroom and up to the storage bins with all the instruments and was playing away. I love that! I have her on video rolling -- I need to upload that.

Bella also has exactly one tooth. One of the bottom middle teeth. I think the other bottom one is on its way in, but it hasn't broken through quite yet.

I said that Bella's personality is getting bigger and bigger. She's SUCH a happy baby. She screeches when she's really excited about something and I love that I can still make her giggle. And be prepared to have anything you bring near her taken away. She grabs everything.

No sign of crawling just yet....and we're totally okay with that. If you'll remember -- I said that about the teeth, too.....so I'm pretty sure I just set the crawling wheels in motion - haha!

8 months, my sweet baby girl! I better get to planning that big birthday party that will be here before we know it!

Oh.....and just to prove that she truly is the happiest kid around, all of these pictures were taken around 9pm. Two good hours after her normal bedtime. It's also my sister's birthday today so we've been celebrating with Aunt Ra-Ra.......but you know I just had to have the pictures taken on the exact day Bella turned 8mos. I'm kinda crazy like that.
