Happy Easter!

It's been a fantastic day in the Dxxxxxxx household. Church, family, food, great weather - awesome. The girls went to church for the first time - we visited Nana and Pop's (my grandparents) church and Grandma and Papa went as well. We met at 10:30 this morning.......right in the middle of nap time........and the service lasted until noon.......lunch. I was a little nervous and very prepared for a meltdown, but it never came. The girls napped in Nana's and Papa's arms (Grandma and Papa shared baby duty) and D and I enjoyed the service.

The funniest part -- the preacher had just finished his sermon and the church was silent and Sofia sighed really loudly -- apparently it was her "Amen" - it was so cute and the timing was hilarious. Her little voice echoed.

Afterwards, we came back to our house to grill hamburgers - R & C and Carter came over and we hid eggs for Carter. He was so funny - he would find an egg and open it right there to eat what was inside. By the time they left, Carter was on a major sugar high!!

Then we went to Mimi and Abuelito's house for more egg hunting with Daniela and Gabriela. Daniela did an excellent job of helping all the little ones find eggs!

I have a lot of pictures to put up and I'm working on making a slide show so stay tuned. (Yeah - I have the best of intentions......we'll see how that translates, right?).
