Bad Mommy.........I stole a whole ounce from Olivia. Last night she weighed 2lb 14.9oz not 13.9oz I previously reported......even closer to 3lbs!!
We had our morning visit this morning. Girls are doing well. They've increased Sofia's continuous feed to 7.3ml per hour but they're watching her closely. Her belly was quite full and it appeared she may be slow digesting. They've changed Olivia's compression feed from 24ml over 2 hours to 24ml over an hour -we'll see how she does. They had not started her feeding when we left.

Our Sweet Baby Girls
Our girls entered the world on May 27th after a pregnancy filled with contractions, endless doctors visits, many worries and of course lots of prayers. I was on my 6th week in the hospital and they were ready to make their appearance.....10 1/2 weeks early. Sofia Kathryn came first weighing 2lb 11oz and Olivia Claire followed a minute later weighing 2lb 12.6oz. They were the tiniest babies I had ever seen and, although the doctors had told us not to expect them to cry, they each gave a tiny little wail to mark their entrance.
We couldn't imagine the emotions of the next 6 weeks in the NICU and we weren't
prepared for the world of monitors and alarms and tubes that was ahead, but as
each day passed we began to hit milestone after milestone and we soon realized how strong our girls were and how blessed our family was that they were healthy.We brought our girls home on July 10th and began our lives as a family. Not a day goes by that we don't stare at them in amazement - 2 sweet baby girls. How did we get so lucky.
