Baby update

Did I tell you that we've decided on a name? Well - we had actually decided on a different name but I changed my mind. I can do that, you know. It's allowed. But we've now definitely decided that our newest baby girl will be named Isabella. We're still discussing her middle name, but Isabella it is! I was starting to wonder if she would ever have a name and I had forgotten that Isabella was on "the list" with the girls and I had forgotten how much I liked it. So! Meet Isabella.
I think the 4-D ultrasound pics are absolutely amazing. And amazing that you can see her little features already at just 22 weeks. In the picture above, she had her hands and feet all up around her face. No wonder I'm feeling such movement located in one area....punches and kicks all in once place. I told D today that I'm convinced I feel her moving more than I ever felt the girls. This kid is going to be an active one!!

We had a visit with the maternal-fetal specialist today and after our visit before the beach, I was honestly expecting the worst. I was prepared to hear things like "cerclage surgery" and "bed rest". However, much to our surprise, things looked better today than they did in the last visit. We had a growth scan and she's measuring right on for 22 weeks gestation with an estimated weight currently at 1lb 1oz and the issue I was anticipating apparently isn't as much of an issue. I still have orders to take it easy as much as possible....no lifting the girls - no lifting anything, for that matter, and resting as much as possible, but no big restrictions like bedrest or modified bedrest. I think I'll take the more cautious route, though.

I know I should be happy after our visit, and I am, but I still can't help but to be anxious. It's going to be a long 17 weeks (we've not scheduled delivery yet, but my OB says it'll be anywhere from November 2 to the 9th, with the 9th being my due date....so my vote is for the 2nd - ha!) but I'm ready. Work is going to be busy for the next couple of months so that should be somewhat of a distraction and we also have to start working on the nursery......which currently is our extra bedroom for storage, so there's a lot of organizing and moving around, etc. Which I'll do while sitting in a chair giving direction - haha. Doctor's orders, right?!?!

So there you have it. A baby update and a few pictures. Ultrasound pictures aren't complete without the good profile picture:

And that's all for now! PEACE!

(How funny is that?!?!?!?!)
