The girls looked great and we don't have to go back for another year unless, of course, they're sick. They're still at the bottom of the chart on weight for their age.....and how can I not expect that when they're still wearing pants in size 12 mos?!?!.....but we've moved to the middle of the chart for height. It's interesting to me that they're still relatively the same in both weight and height. Of course the weight is a little questionable given the tantrum each was throwing at the scale, but still. Sofia weighed in at 22lb 2oz and was 33 1/2 inches tall and Olivia weighed in at 22lb 6oz and was 33 3/4 inches tall. We're growing!!
I was so self conscious when we walked in.........see these pics of Olivia:
That's a mosquito bite at the very corner which has caused her eye to swell. Add that to the other bites on her legs and the bruises because they're learning to climb on everything and I felt like people were staring at us as I escorted my child who looked like she had been in a playroom brawl!!
So! Two-year check-up down and we're marching on to three. We've decided that we're going to give the toddler beds a try......as we started thinking about it, the girls have a lot coming up this year by way of changes......moving out of the cribs, potty training, starting Mothers' Morning Out and let's not forget the new baby. We want to try to ease them in to everything and when we started working backwards from November, we realized that we needed to start something now. So toddler beds here we come...........stay tuned - I'm sure there will be a good story or two coming in the next few weeks!
