The sweetest thing

Last night I had the girls while D was out and we were sitting on the couch finishing bottles. Sofia was propped in a boppy next to me and Olivia was on my lap. When I sat Olivia up she was facing Sofia and they watched eachother for probably half a minute and then both of them broke out into big smiles. It wasn't just a quick exchange - they looked at eachother for quite a while and the smiles continued. Then Sofia started "talking" and it seemed like Olivia was "talking" back. We sat like that for several minutes - I was watching in awe. That's the first time they've acknowledged eachother at the same time - it was a real exchange. It was the sweetest thing and I could barely hold back the tears!
