Adult outing

Who ever knows what day it is.......I'll go outside to check the mail on Sunday and I'm looking for the Sunday paper on Wednesday. Babies and bottles, and that's okay! But today D and I had some adult time and he's been keeping track of the days because the new Batman movie opened yesterday. He's been planning a date to this movie since before I was in the hospital it seems and today we finished the noon feeding and set out for a few hours without the babies.

The Dark Knight was pretty good......as far as superhero movies go.......but it was so nice to get out. We had adult conversation....popcorn.....good movie......and what better way to top off adult time than with a trip to Babies R Us - hahahaha. This is our new normal and we love it.

Here are a few pictures taken today, including pictures from our very first walk around the neighborhood. In the pictures together, Sofia is on the left and Olivia is on the right. Sofia is wearing the pink and white stripes.

Oh oh oh! We took the girls for their first visit to the pediatrician on Friday. They ended up having their 2 month vaccinations and I didn't even cry!! Woo hoo Mommy. The ped said they look fantastic and to "keep doing what we're doing." Olivia weighed in at a whopping 5lb 1oz and Sofia wasn't too far behind at 4lb 12oz. Both girls are the same length at 17 1/4". We go back in 4 weeks for a weight check and then we'll be seen on a "regular" schedule.

Until next time.............................
