All is well

Another good day for our precious baby girls and not much to report. Haha - they're doing better than their mommy, that's for sure! I feel like I'm taking 2 steps back again.....rest, Andrea, rest!

Both visits today were quiet. The girls sleep most of the time and alot of the time we just go and sit and watch them sleep.....but it's hard for us to keep our hands off! I held both girls today including holding Olivia for kangaroo care. She was so funny - she kept pushing herself up with her feet and was wiggling all over the place. She had 2 bradycardia episodes today for which she was "written up". Apparently they don't document the episodes if the girls come back up on their own......but if someone has to go into the isolette to stimulate them, it gets noted in their record.

Sofia has finished her light therapy so both girls are resting comfortably. This evening, Sofia weighed 2lb 10.7oz (up from 10.3oz last night) and Olivia weighed 2lb 12.7oz (up from 12.3oz last night and a tenth of an ounce over her birth weight!!).

That's all for today....I'm heading to bed....it's 10:30 and the earliest been to sleep since I've been home. Here are a few pictures:

The tube in their nose is their feeding tube. The other wires you see are those that monitor their heart rate, respiratory rate and skin temperature.

They obviously didn't get my skin color as evidenced in #2......I'm trying really hard to find something they got from me..........they even sneeze continuously like their daddy........Sofia sneezed 8 times in a row today - haha.
