I had the best time with the girls this evening. It was only about an hour before they went to bed but both girls were in fantastic moods and were very playful. So we played! I laughed. They laughed. Both of them -- they were giggling. It was music to my ears!!
They finally started getting sleepy and when I put them in their beds, there wasn't a peep from either one of them. They went right to sleep and I just stood there and watched them with a full heart and a huge smile on my face. It was one of those moments were I stand there and just can't believe they're mine. It's been almost a year and every day I still look at them in amazement.
D came upstairs while I was still in their room and said "What was all that laughing about? I heard all this laughing - and I missed it!"
It was a girl thing. And it was awesome.
